Baptism is a public declaration of what God has already begun in your heart. It’s a picture of the life of Christ: death, burial, and resurrection. The old life is gone, and a new life has begun.
We’ve prepared for you.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Come 30 minutes early, and from there our team will walk with you through every step.

Go to the Information Team in front of the main auditorium. Give them your name and clothing size.
We’ll get you what you need.
Pick up your baptism clothes, change, and then head into the auditorium.
Sit wherever you’d like.
Pastor Darryn will call everyone being baptized forward. Our team will guide you from there.
Don’t worry about what to bring.
Come in your normal church clothes. We’ll provide a baptism shirt, shorts, an undergarment, and a bag for your clothes. Swim caps are available if you’d like one.

What is baptism?
Baptism is a public way to say you’ve decided to follow Jesus.
What time do I need to arrive for my baptism?
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the service you’re getting baptized at starts. This will give you ample time to collect your baptism attire and change before the service starts.
Where do I go to get my baptism clothes when I arrive?
When you arrive, you will go to the Information Team located in the lobby in front of the main auditorium. You will tell them your name and what size clothing you need, and they will provide you with a set of baptism attire and a bag to place the clothes you wore to church in.
What clothing and/or garments do I need to bring with me?
Our team will provide all you need for baptism Sunday including baptism attire (shirts & shorts) and undergarment. Swim caps are available upon request. You only need to come wearing your normal to church!
Do I need to sit in a certain place after changing into my baptism clothes?
Once you've changed, feel free to sit wherever you'd like within the auditorium or where you usually sit. Pastor Darryn will call everyone who is being baptized that day to come forward, and at that point, our team will be there to guide you through the following steps and ensure you're comfortable and prepared.
How do I change the service time I’m registered for on Baptism Sunday?

What are Heartland’s Sunday service times?
8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:15 am. Your baptism registration will confirm the service you selected.
When will I receive my baptism photos and videos?
We’ll have professional photographers and videographers capturing Baptism Sunday so you can share the moment with family and friends. The day after your baptism, look for an email with your photo gallery, a link to the baptism videos from your service time, and a letter from Pastor Darryn. Make sure the email on your registration is correct; for children, use the parent or guardian email where you’d like these sent.
