Join us for the Heartland Kids Summer Blast, a three-night program for all rising 1st-6th graders that will be filled with engaging and interactive sessions. Your child will have a blast learning about Jesus through exciting games, uplifting songs, and creative arts and crafts.

All of these fun activities and lessons will promote our HK Core Values - Love God, Love People, Do Your Best, and Have Fun

We would love for you to join us as a leader on the Summer Blast Dream Team. Adults, High School students, and Middle School students can serve during Summer Blast. Students under 12 years of age must serve alongside a parent or guardian.

Common questions!

  • Summer Blast is for children entering 1st grade in the fall through the 6th grade.

  • Yes, you will be given the option to request your child to be in the same group as their friends during the online registration process. For children to be in the same group, they will need to be in nearby grades. Please understand that our team will do their best to accommodate requests, but they are not guaranteed. Communicate to the Check-In team that you request your child to be in the same group.

  • We will begin checking children in each day at our main doors in front of the church at 5:45. You will receive a security ticket for both you and your child; please keep your ticket with you. Then, we ask you to take your child to the designated seating area for his/her group in our auditorium and meet your child’s group leader.

  • You must come to pick your child up in their small group area each day. You must present your child’s claim ticket to their small group leader and you will then need to show your claim ticket again at the exit doors.

  • Dinner will not be provided. However, snacks will be served each day. If your child has a food allergy let us know when you register your child.

  • At Summer Blast we are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment that allows all children to access worship and ministry. If your child needs special accommodations during Summer Blast, please email the Heartland Kids team for more information about our Adaptive Program.

  • Absolutely! We never want registration cost to be the reason a child misses out on Summer Blast. Financial assistance is available—please email mnelson@heartlandchurch.com for more information.
