Common Questions

  • What are weekend services like?
Each weekend at Heartland Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also find a printed outline for notes in your program that will help you make the most of each week’s message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality environment and fun-filled Heartland Kids service.

  • What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. We have a special gift for each guest that attends for the first time, simply stop by the Guest Services desk in the lobby at each location to pick it up. Someone will be there to assist you with a smile and answer any questions you might have.

  • What should I wear to attend your services?
Feel free to wear what is comfortable for you because "Everyone is welcome, and Anything is possible" at Heartland. You'll find people in jeans and t-shirts to suits and ties, after all it's not about what you look like or what you wear that matters. Every person is loved by God and by us.

  • What about my children?
At Heartland Church your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children's ministry called Heartland Kids as well as life-changing ministry to students in middle and high school.

  • How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Growth Track. Heartland groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

  • What are Heartland groups?
Groups are an important part of Heartland Church; we believe that church happens around circles during the week not just in rows during weekend services. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As Heartland Church grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you. Find a group to visit in our directory and get started doing life together.
