Missions

Our vision for Heartland Mission Trips is that they will be opportunities for people to pursue spiritual growth and healthy relationships through serving. In accomplishing this vision, we both support the local church where it exists and raise up disciples through our teams. Missions is about bringing people into a relationship with Jesus, both the served and the serving.

One of our largest partners is Convoy of Hope, a faith-based, nonprofit organization that has helped more than 70 million people throughout the world by sharing food, water, emergency supplies, agricultural know-how, and opportunities that empower people to live independent lives, free from poverty, disease and hunger. Through this partnership, over the last decade we have been able to feed 50-60,000 school children per day in Haiti, as well as build an addition to a local school in one of the communities.

We also partner with Cry of India, which focuses on providing education, nutrition, healthcare and spiritual formation to meet the urgent needs of extreme poverty and children at risk. With sponsorship there is hope that they will be able to break out of the cycle of poverty and reach their God-given potential.

We partner with the Fishers Rotary Water is Life project that has already completed 100 wells in the West African country of Sierra Leone which are currently serving nearly 100,000 people and saving countless lives annually. Because of efforts like Water is Life, Sierra Leone has been declared Ebola-free by World Hope International and has future plans to add 30 more wells reaching up to 30,000 more people in need of clean water in the region.
