| DIVORCE CARE | WEDNESDAY EVENINGS | 6:30-8:30 P.M. Please Don’t go through separation or divorce alone—DivorceCare is a friendly, caring, loving group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. | DIVORCE CARE 4 KIDS | WEDNESDAY EVENINGS | 6:30-8:30 P.M. DivorceCare 4 Kids (DC4K) is offered for ages 5-12, beginning this fall at Heartland. DC4K is a special group to help your children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce. DC4K provides your children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings, and runs the same 13-week schedule as our adult DivorceCare class. | SEASONS SENIOR CARE SUPPORT GROUP | FIRST TUESDAY EACH MONTH | 7-9 P.M. Watching someone you love grow older is difficult, but dementia and Alzheimer’s are often lonely experiences that provide little support for the families who are put into a caregiving role. Heartland cares and provides a support group that meets the first Tuesday of each month at our 96th Street Campus. This support group will help you walk through this difficult journey. |
| LIFE RECOVERY MEETING | MONDAYS | 6 P.M. Sometimes life takes turns we don’t expect. Heartland Church is here to help. Join us each Friday night as Life Recovery groups meet to share in a close-knit small group setting where testimonies and teaching related to transformed lives are shared. |
| WINGS BUDDY PROGRAM | EVERY SUNDAY DURING WORSHIP EXPERIENCES The desire of our Wings ministry is to reach families of special needs children with the compassion of Christian fellowship. While you join us for Sunday worship, your child is paired with a buddy who will provide loving support in a safe environment so that your child can grow in their knowledge of Jesus. |
| WOMEN’S PARTNERS IN THE BATTLE | WEDNESDAYS | 6-7:15 P.M. This is a professional counselor-led group for women who are “learning to deal with heal from the emotional upheaval and distress that occurs when the man in your life struggles with sexual integrity.” The cost is $20/session. |
| EVERY MAN’S BATTLE | THURSDAYS | 6-7:30 P.M. This is a professional counselor-led group for men “providing support and accountability for men to learn tools and strategies for long-term success in the area of sexual integrity.” The cost is $20/session. |
| HOSPITAL VISITATION | PROVIDED AS NEEDED Some people are in need of prayer as they go through health and emergency issues in local hospitals. We’re here to be there for support and prayer as you go through this time, just let us know where we need to visit and we’ll be there! |
| TYING THE KNOT? | PROVIDED AS NEEDED Are you “tying the knot?” All prospective newlyweds can learn the intricacies of marriage in areas like spiritual growth, communication, financial management skills, relationship intimacy, conflict resolution and so much more by enrolling in the “Prepare-Enrich” program. This class is a prerequisite for a wedding performed at Heartland. |
| LOSE IT FOR LIFE Lose It For Life isn’t about dieting, it’s about living well. Guided by a curriculum written by Heartland’s own Stephen Arterburn, Lose It For Life teaches you the basics of taking care of yourself and losing any weight that’s holding you from being the person God’s called You to be. |
